Raise your right foot, tap it using your left hand, then lower it. Lift your foot behind your back and tap it with the opposite hand, and do the same with the opposite. Practice this set of stretches until you can do them rapidly, holding each position for 20 seconds. Rotate through the positions and do 3-5 sets of each.

Inhale at the beginning of your reps when weight lifting, and exhale at the end of your reps. This causes your body to expend more energy and inhaling air will give your body more energy as well.

If one side of your body is injured, continue to work out the opposite side. Arms are interrelated with one another, so when you damage one arm, yet keep working out your other arm; researchers found you still retain a significant increase in arm strength despite not working out their injured arm. The reason for this is that fact that the muscles of both arms are connected.

If you want to use weights, start out on the smallest machines. Small muscles wear out before the big ones, so you should start small. When you move up to the bigger muscles, your smaller and more delicate muscles will have a breather.
